NEWTON, N.C. (April 22, 2016)—Downtown Newton is already a great destination for shoppers and diners, but the Downtown Newton Development Association is ready to partner with business and property owners to take the historic area around the 1924 Courthouse Square to the next level.
Join the DNDA from 8:30-10 a.m. Thursday, April 28, at Blue Moon Tavern for a free design workshop to explore affordable ways to create amazing signage, storefronts and display windows. Attendees will learn to create new design standards to position their businesses as unique shopping and dining destinations. The workshop is free and open to the public, but attendees are asked to RSVP to Shannon Johnson, Main Street Program manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Blue Moon will provide snacks.
Buzz Bizzell, a nationally noted expert in downtown signage programs, will lead the workshop. Bizzell will provide retail coaching and present stunning before-and-after examples of actual Downtown Newton storefronts. The DNDA will review ways property owners can receive funds to improve their storefronts.
Blue Moon Tavern is located at 100 North Main Ave., Newton. For more information, please contact Shannon Johnson at 828-695-4360 or email@example.com.
