Celebration will honor keys to business success: Newton Business Advisory Committee Annual Meeting to recognize key employees
NEWTON, N.C. – Employees are the keys to the success of thriving businesses. Join in the celebration of Newton's businesses and their employees at the third annual Newton Business Meeting hosted by the Newton Business Advisory Committee.
Business owners, managers, employees and guests are invited to attend the Newton Business Meeting: Key Employee Recognition and Celebration at 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, at the Old Post Office Playhouse, 10 South Main Ave., in Downtown Newton.
The evening will begin with refreshments at 5 p.m. Recognition of key employees will follow at 5:30 p.m.
Business owners and managers will use their own criteria prior to the meeting to choose key employees to be recognized at the event.
Newton Business Advisory Committee Chairman Jerry Hodge said, “This event is a meaningful and enjoyable way to give attention and appreciation to the commercial, industrial and professional employees who work in Newton day-in and day-out.”
The Business Advisory Committee serves as a catalyst and facilitator to improve the business climate in Newton. The committee is charged with planning and implementing economic and community development strategies including marketing, branding, incentives, and infrastructure improvements at the direction of Newton Mayor Anne P. Stedman and the Newton City Council.
The annual meeting and celebration are organized by the Business Advisory Committee at no cost to Newton’s businesses.
