Pack and Ship holds ribbon cutting

NEWTON, NC – For a little extra care in shipping your packages, head to Pack and Ship 2, 2725 Northwest Blvd. Suite H, in Newton before sending off your goods. Pack and Ship celebrated its grand opening Thursday, August 7, 2014 with a ribbon cutting ceremony with the City of Newton and Catawba County Chamber of Commerce.

Newton Mayor Anne P. Stedman stated, “On behalf of the City of Newton, I want to welcome you to town. I hope you have a long and prosperous career here. Anything that we can do to help you, please let us know. We’re all here to support you.”

Co-owner Deborah Price, a Newton native,” said, “I’m just really excited to be here and happy to be here.”

Price and her husband, Michael Price, also own a Pack and Ship store in Denver. They will continue to operate the first store in addition to the new store in Newton. Deborah Price said in addition to her ties to Newton, they selected the second location due to the demographics in the area and the need for a packing and shipping store.
