NEWTON, NC (Sept. 6, 2013) – The City of Newton Parks & Recreation Department and the Catawba County Council On Aging are offering two flu shot clinics from 1 to 3 p.m. on Oct. 3 and 10 a.m. to noon on Oct. 29.
The clinics are at the NewtonRecreationCenter, 23 S. Brady Ave. No appointment is necessary. The flu-shot vaccination cost is $30. Medicare Part B recipients (please bring your Medicare card) and those on Humana Gold and Partners Advantage Plans will receive the vaccinations at no cost. Other insurance plans may be accepted the day of the clinic, however, if your insurance plan is not accepted you may pay and submit to your plan for possible reimbursement.
