Southeastern Monuments holds ribbon cutting ceremony

NEWTON, NC (Aug. 19, 2013) – Southeastern Monuments and Bronze celebrated on Friday the opening of its Newton office at 1524 Northwest Blvd. The business offers monuments, bronze markers, urns, granite company signs, vases and more.

Mayor Anne P. Stedman stated, “I would like to officially welcome you, and I wish you the best of luck in your expansion here. I think you’re in a great location.” 

Owner Jerry Shoaf said, “We have been better received here than anywhere we’ve been, and we appreciate that. It’s just been overwhelming to us. Everyone has been so kind and polite. We’re looking forward to a great time here in Newton.”
