Ribbon cutting held at Queen’s Consignment
NEWTON, NC (June 27, 2012) -- A ribbon cutting was held at Queen’s Consignment on June 20. City of Newton officials, staff, and merchants attended the event at the new business, which is located at 2110 US Hwy. 321 Business (Northwest Boulevard). A grand opening was held Saturday, June 30.
Owner Angela Hendrix invites the public to visit her new shop to browse the wide selection of household accessories, furniture, jewelry, baby items, clothing for the entire family, collectibles, and much more.
Hendrix stated, “At Queen’s you’ll find great quality with great low prices. We have something for everyone.”
Queen’s Consignment also accepts donations of furniture, clothing, and household items, with a percentage of each purchase going back into the community to those with special needs. “We service the needs of the homeless and also those that suffer loss due to fires or weather damage,” Hendrix related.
Consignors are welcome and booth rentals are available. Queen’s also offers wedding and formal gowns for purchase or rental. Area residents are encouraged to visit Queen’s Consignment and receive a free gift.
