Neighbors Network offers partnership to area businesses, volunteers
NEWTON, NC (April 25, 2012) -- Neighbors Network is beginning their search for Service Providers to satisfy the needs of their Membership. Neighbors Network is a membership-driven, grass-roots organization under the umbrella of the Catawba County Council on Aging.
Their primary emphasis is to help people maintain independence in their own homes and to coordinate for its Members access to reliable and affordable services. These services typically include transportation, health and wellness programs, home repairs, and social and educational activities and trips. Neighbors Network is a member of the renowned National Village-To-Village Network. It is a proven program of community support and revitalization. Association with them will provide an added benefit to the list of accomplishments for chosen partners.
Economic development is another key benefit Neighbors Network provides the Newton-Conover area. The non-profit organization will be supplying a steady clientele for Provider businesses, helping to financially supplement partnering companies in the community. Candidates chosen will sell Members a top-notch service, which has been vetted by the program; and guarantee them quality, effortless, peace of mind solutions to their everyday needs. Neighbors Network Providers will be selected based on their application and interview; and will be expected to provide an exclusive, cost saving percentage or benefit to the NN Membership.
Neighbors Network is also building a bank of Service Volunteers, to supply assistance that does not require professional status. If area citizens are looking for an opportunity to serve the community in a meaningful way, that helps to enrich the lives of senior and challenged neighbors in need of support, they are encouraged to fill out a NN Volunteer Application.
