Ribbon cutting held at Williams Ebeling Enterprises
NEWTON, NC (March 23, 2012) -- A ribbon cutting was held at Williams Ebeling Enterprises in Newton on March 15, 2012. Newton Mayor Anne Stedman, along with City officials and staff, congratulated owners Ben Ebeling and Josh Williams on their business expansion and relocation to a larger facility on North Ashe Avenue.
Williams Ebeling Enterprises is a motorsports company providing a range of services and products. Ebeling and Williams, along with their two employees Jim Maddalon and Kenny Fox, build race cars, fabricate racing parts, assist motorsports teams with car maintenance and performance optimization, work with developing drivers, and build and restore custom cars. Williams Ebeling Enterprises is the only distributor of Townsend-Oliver Racing Performance race car chassis. They also build custom wiring harnesses and ignition systems for all types of race cars and custom cars. If you have made a visit to Hickory Motor Speedway recently, you likely have seen Williams Ebeling Enterprises race cars battling for the lead.
The duo joined forces in 2009 to form Williams Ebeling Enterprises and located their shop in Newton at 2308 North Main Avenue. The success and growth of their business mandated a move to the larger North Ashe Avenue facility this past January. Both Ebeling and Williams graduated from the Bobby Isaac Motorsports Program at Catawba Valley Community College. They have 30 years of combined experience in motorsports and have worked for some of the top NASCAR teams represented by drivers such as Kasey Kahne, Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, Elliott Sadler, and Greg Biffle.
