One Source Auto Group Ribbon Cutting
NEWTON, N.C. (Dec. 1, 2017)—Newton welcomed One Source Auto Group to the city during a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, Dec. 1.
One Source Auto Group is now open and is located at 2004 North Main Ave.
The business, which is owned by Don Essary, Scott Essary, and Dennis Cranford, offers a growing selection of used cars for sale. The business is at the site of a former BB&T bank.
“We’re serial entrepreneurs,” Don Essary said of himself and his partners. “This is something we love and we like working with our buyers and customers.”
One Source Auto Group focuses on selling one- and two-owner vehicles with low mileage, Don Essary said. They aim to buy cars they can resell at prices below Kelley Blue Book values, and they can help customers search for a specific vehicle anywhere the country. Financing is usually available, even for customers with low credit scores. Through their buyers, One Source Auto Group is able to select the best cars for their lot before those cars are sent to major auctions. They plan to hire a finance and insurance manager and a sales manager as the business grows.
Don Essary said he was especially proud of the partnerships he and his team have developed with other local businesses, including White Tire Center of Newton, Sidepipes of Newton, and German Auto Service of Hickory.
Newton Mayor Anne P. Stedman said she was pleased to welcome One Source Auto Group to the city.
“I’m happy to see this creative reuse of a building, and I wish you much success here,” Stedman said.
Photos from the ribbon cutting are available on the city of Newton’s Facebook page.
