Room & Board to build 250,000-square-foot Distribution Center in Newton

NEWTON, NC (May 3, 2017) – Room & Board recently announced plans to develop with The Keith Corporation a new 250,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center in Newton. The company intends to invest $12,870,000 and create at least 13 new jobs by the end of 2020 on a 41-acre site in front of the Target Distribution Center on N.C. Highway 10.

A grant equal to 50 percent of the new property taxes generated for three years was approved by the Catawba County Board of Commissioners on May 1, and a like incentive was approved by the Newton City Council on May 2.
