NEWTON, N.C. (Dec. 9, 2016)—The city of Newton joined the Catawba County Chamber of Commerce in welcoming First USA Storage to the city during a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 8.
First USA Storage is located at 3005 Nathan St., Newton. The facility features 24-hour surveillance monitoring, electronic gate access, RV and boat storage, professional on-site management, online payments and U-Haul rentals. Whether customers are moving into a new home or running out of space in their apartments, First USA Storage is ready to help with boxes for moving and shipping, locks and insurance for individual units, and complimentary moving carts.
On-site managers for the facility are Anne Spencer and Amy Yeager. The facility is operated by John Lindsey and Alan Lindsey of Lindsey Self Storage Group.
John Lindsey said recent renovations to the facility make it a great option for self storage, and additional renovations are planned.
“We’re very happy to be in business here in Newton, and we hope it grows,” he said. “We’re also looking forward to getting involved in the Newton community.”
Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors member Karen Tonks welcomed the First USA Storage team to their new location.
“We want you to know that you have joined an excellent chamber,” Tonks said. “You have such an excellent support system within the chamber and the community.”
