City Hall office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the exception of Customer Service closing at 4:45 p.m.
City offices will be closed the following holidays in 2012:
- January 2 -- New Year
- January 16 -- Martin Luther King, Jr.
- April 6 -- Easter (Good Friday)
- May 28 -- Memorial Day
- July 4 -- Independence Day
- September 3 -- Labor Day
- November 22 & 23 -- Thanksgiving
- December 24, 25, & 26 -- Christmas
City of Newton sanitation services will operate on all holidays excluding Christmas. If Christmas occurs during the work week, sanitation services will be delayed by one day. All customers should put their garbage and other sanitation items out on their scheduled day.
Recreation Center Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: Special scheduled functions and classes; times may vary
Swimming Pool (summer)
Monday – Saturday 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday: Special functions
