Newton Recreation Facilities

The Recreation Center is located on South Brady Avenue. It has approximately 24,000 square feet with parking on each level to accommodate activities.

Upper Level
· Offices, Reception Area, Lobby, Gymnasium, Conference Room, Concessions, and a Fitness Room.

Lower Level
 · Four multi-purpose rooms designed for a variety of Activities and Functions.

  • All types of Athletic Activities & Tournaments are held in the gym facility. 

  • The Center is available for rent to anyone wanting to have parties, luncheons, club & business meetings, family gatherings, etc.

Central Recreation Center

Central Recreation Facilities

This facility is located on South Ervin Avenue. The complex contains approximately 16,000 square feet situated on 15 acres of land.

Gymnasium

Office, restrooms w/ showers, a high school regulation basketball court, seating capacity for 200 persons.

Lower Level/Classrooms

Seven classrooms are rented to the Head Start Program with approximately 100 children ranging in ages 3 to 5 years old. The Head Start Program begins in August and ends in May.
