Newton Subdivision Review Board
The Subdivision Review Board is established by
the Subdivision Regulations as adopted by the City Council and
consists of the
City Manager, Planning Director, Director of Parks and
Recreation, Director of Public Works, Fire Chief, and Police Chief.
The SRB reviews and approves all subdivision plats.
Scheduled
Meetings: 2nd and 4th Wednesday of
every month, 9:00 a.m., City Hall, Council Chambers, 401 North Main
Ave., Newton, North Carolina.

MEETINGS AND DEADLINE SCHEDULE
The following is a schedule of regular bi-monthly
City of Newton Subdivision Review Board (SRB) meetings. Following the meeting dates are the deadline periods for
submitting Minor Plats, Sketch Plans, Preliminary Plats, and Final
Plats for SRB approval. Plats
submitted after a deadline period will not be acted upon by the SRB
until the next scheduled SRB meeting.
