The records division of the police department is responsible for all information that flows in and out of the police department. Every report and citation that is issued is entered into the police department's computer system by two records specialist. Once the information is entered into the computer system it then becomes available to the public. The records specialists are also responsible for compiling monthly statistical information to be distributed to the administrative staff, city manager and city council.
