Captain Michael R. Sullivan serves as the Road Patrol, Criminal Investigations and Narcotics Division Commander. Prior to being promotoed to his current position, Captain Sullivan served as Narcotics Lieutenant. Captain Sullivan came to Newton from Wisconsin via the United States Marines. Captain Sullivan is very active in the community and helps coach football at Newton Conover High School. Captain Sullivan also serves on the county S.T.A.R. team. Captain Sullivan and his wife Marguerite have two adult daughters and live in Newton.
