Newton Fire Stations

Newton Station 1, Headquarters Station, is located at 116 West "A" Street. Station 1 Fire Station
was built in 1956 and was temporarily used by the Sanitation Department before being converted to Station 1 in 1958. Station 1 currently houses the department’s administrative staff, Engine 1, Engine 4, Engine 5, and Air 1. The City is currently in the design phase of a new headquarters station.

 

 

 

Fire Station 2Newton Station 2, Northside Station, is located at 560 West 21st Street. Station 2 was built in 1993 and houses Engine 2, Ladder 1, Brush 1, and the trench rescue trailer.

 

 

 

 

Fire Station 3Newton Station 3, Startown Station, is located at 4197 Startown Road. Station 3 was acquired in 2001 through the merger of the Newton Fire Department and the Startown Volunteer Fire Department. Through extensive remodeling the station was brought up to the current code and now houses Engine 3, Tanker 3, and Truck 1.
