Festival & Events Committee

The Festival & Events Committee is a nine-member committee, appointed by the Mayor and City Council for a three-year term. All members of the committee shall be residents of the City of Newton.

The committee meets the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. The Festival & Events Committee is dedicated to promoting citizen involvement and interaction in developing, coordinating, and implementing a variety of activities and events for the entire community.

Current members include: Jessica Setzer (Chairperson), Crystal Spesert, Rev. Paul FitzPatrick, Michelle Lail, Steve Gelnett and Mike Sherrill.
